Sc Balloon

SC Balloon is a semi-compliant balloon dilatation catheter which is ideal for the treatment of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) for the purpose of improving myocardial blood flow in the localized stenotic lesion of the coronary arteries. Semi-compliant balloons (mid-high pressures) are commonly made of Pebax or higher durometer polyurethanes. These balloons are used in applications that require mid-high pressures but need more compliance than a non-compliant balloon and more flexibility to ease delivery

Nc Balloon

Noncompliant (high-pressure) balloons are typically made of polyester or nylon. They’re used for applications in which the balloon needs to expand to a specific diameter and exert high pressure to open a blockage or dilate the vasculature. NC balloon is specifically designed for the treatment of resistant, calcified lesions and for the post dilatation of under-deployed stents. These balloons are used for applications in which the balloon needs to expand to a specific diameter and exert high pressure to open a blockage or to dilate the vessel. 

Coronary dilation catheters are used to open clogged blood vessels to improve blood flow to the heart.

The NC RX Coronary Dilatation Catheter is indicated for use in the following cardiac (heart) procedures:

 

  1. balloon dilatation of the abnormal narrowing portion of a coronary artery or bypass graft, for the purpose of improving myocardial perfusion.
  2. balloon dilatation of a coronary artery occlusion, to restore coronary flow in patients who have had a type of heart attack, known as myocardial infarction
  3. balloon dilatation of a stent after implantation (balloon models 4.00 – 5.00 mm only).
